SWORN ENEMY Sign With ABACUS RECORDINGS

August 4, 2005

SWORN ENEMY have inked a deal with Abacus Recordings. The band is currently out on a headlining tour with FULL BLOWN CHAOS and SCARS OF TOMORROW, which will take the band all over the U.S. ending with their performance at this year's Hellfest in New Jersey.

The band recently finished up their sophomore record, "The Beginning of the End", at Big Fish Studios in San Diego. The album, which was produced by Tim Lambesis (AS I LAY DYING),engineered Steve Russell and mixed by Zeuss (THE RED CHORD, SHADOWS FALL),is scheduled for release on October 18.

When discussing the mission of the new record, the response is simple: "To set the tone for the new age of metal," says vocalist/frontman Sal Enemy. "This record signifies a new chapter for us as a band, a new style of music. . . We don’t follow any trends. We do it from the heart."

Brand-new material from the upcoming record will make its online debut next week via the band's MySpace page: www.myspace.com/swornenemy.
